THE BRNDHAUS PL-ZEN™ is inspired by the highly influential modernist Bauhaus movement and school of the 20th century whose dedication to experimentation and approach to understanding art’s relationship to society and technology made an enduring impact globally, especially in Europe and the U.S.

The movement’s emphasis on uniting art and industrial design proved to be its most original and important achievement; leading the Bauhaus style to become one of the most evolutionary and timeless currents in modernist architecture and art, architectural education, graphic design, interior design, industrial design, typography, and photography. 

The BRNDHAUS announced its launch on April 1, 2019, coinciding with the momentous 100th anniversary of the German art school Staatiiches Bauhaus, commonly known as “Bauhaus,” opened on April 1, 1919.
